A structurally coordinated four-panel heavy-duty Palace door, custom made for an exposed beachfront apartment and glazed for robust coastal performance.

The project
The existing stacking door had to be replaced with a system capable of handling the scale and exposed beachfront conditions without sacrificing the ocean view.
Working with a structural engineer, D&G Window Solutions removed the existing stacking door, measured and designed the replacement, then manufactured and installed a white four-panel heavy-duty Palace system. Double-glazed clear laminated safety glass completes the broad ocean-facing elevation.
Purpose in every detail
The system is visually simple, but its proportions, tracks and operating panels were selected around a demanding beachfront opening.
The replacement was coordinated with a structural engineer around the size and beachfront exposure of the opening.
Only four leaves create the appearance of a more detailed multi-panel system while keeping operation practical.
The clear glass specification supports safety and performance while preserving the lagoon and ocean outlook.
Project photography
Multiple views of the completed system focus on the panel rhythm, coastal outlook and the precise threshold that allows the large door to operate as one unit.

The completed result
A carefully specified four-panel system that gives the apartment the openness it needs and the substance its location demands.
